The State Archives of Naples: A Historic Venue
The heart of the fair will be the State Archives of Naples, a magnificent historic building located in the city's heart, founded as the Monastery of Saints Severino and Sossio in the 10th century.
In the 19th century, after the suppression of religious orders, the building was converted to house state documents and officially became the State Archives of Naples.

Its neoclassical architecture, with frescoed ceilings, majestic staircases, and decorated interiors, offers a fascinating glimpse into Naples' past.
Today, the State Archives of Naples serve as a bridge between the ancient and the modern, providing the perfect setting for EDIT Napoli 2024, where contemporary design will meet centuries of history. Additionally, other magnificent Neapolitan sites will be involved, highlighting the city: Teatro San Carlo, the Ipogeo dei Cristallini, the Royal Mineralogical Museum, the Royal Palace, the Santa Maria delle Anime del Purgatorio ad Arco Museum Complex at the Tribunali, the Filangeri Civic Museum, and the State Archives in Pizzofalcone.
EDIT Cult: Special Art and Design Installations
One of the highlights of EDIT Napoli 2024 will be EDIT Cult, a section dedicated to special art and design installations that blur the lines between art, craftsmanship, and design. This year’s EDIT Cult will showcase a wide range of artistic and design installations in some of Naples' most iconic locations.
ABET Laminati will present a striking piece conceived by Giulio Iacchetti and Matteo Ragni, titled “ABET is 1000 colors...by Abet Laminati.” The installation will be hosted in the subsidiary building of Pizzofalcone, located at Via Egiziaca a Pizzofalcone, 44, and displayed on the terrace of the Military State Archive throughout the fair. Visitors who make their way to the Pizzofalcone district will be rewarded with a stunning view of the Gulf of Naples, with Mount Vesuvius and the island of Capri serving as the natural backdrop for this work.
This evocative work is a tribute to ABET’s vibrant legacy, celebrating the essence of ABET design while seamlessly blending with the colors and spirit of Naples, offering a unique way to experience ABET’s history, designers, and future vision.
In addition to ABET’s installation, here are other fascinating exhibitions not to be missed:
