The careful selection of Arabica beans from different regions ensures a complex and rich flavor profile, embodying the perfect balance of boldness and smoothness. A coffee with an intense aroma, like Frida Kahlo’s surrealist colours; enveloping like the mountains of Chiapas from which it comes, cultivated by the indigenous communities TzotzУl and TzeltИl with the support of Yachil Xojobal Chuichan project. Washed coffee, for the enhancement of the aroma and a persistent aftertaste.

Why I am sustainable

"New light in the sky": this is the name of the Cooperative that collects and processes the coffee of the Zapatista communities in Chiapas, Mexico.
Frida single-origin coffee has the aroma of freedom and autonomy, cultivated and harvested by the approximately 800 members belonging to eight municipalities in Chiapas, in solidarity with the Zapatista movement for the respect of indigenous rights.
Here, the Yachil Nueva Luz coop supports and coordinates the Zapatista communities by gathering their harvest and supporting their many social projects that aim to ensure real gender equality and children's right to play among their priority battles.
