Meaza comes from Wotto Na Bultuma in Ethiopia’s Sidamo highlands, where coffee is grown at 2,000 metres above sea level. It is part of a cooperative project supporting 100 local families.

Washed processing brings out citrus acidity alongside notes of peach, apricot and berries. A long finish carries cocoa and dried-nut flavours, adding depth to its fruity profile.

Presented as ground coffee for drip brewing, it brings bright fruit notes and a lingering cocoa finish to your daily filter-coffee ritual.

Why am I sustainable?

Meaza comes from Bultuma, a village in the Sidama region of Ethiopia, where 100 families grow coffee together with fruit and vegetables in a forest with integrated gardens. Farming is 100% organic and based on fair trade, supported by an ecotourism program started in the early 2000s. The Wotto na Bultuma cooperative runs the village hospital, the nursery and primary schools, and organizes transport to the secondary school in nearby Aleta Wendo.
