The Queen of Swords is usually represented with a raised sword held in her right hand to symbolize mental clarity, truth and justice. She is often depicted sitting in a regal and stiff way, showing to those who observe a serious and austere look.
On the left wrist she wears a bracelet as a symbol of mourning: this pain resolting from the loss of a loved one, makes her see life in a more detached and rational way, not letting herself be carried away by ephemeral and volatile emotions.
The Queen of Swords combines the analytical rationality of swords with the maturity and awareness of the Queens. The result is a person who values objectivity and truth, and uses logic rather than emotions to explore and understand the world.
This card represents intellect, truth and integrity: it symbolizes a person capable of making decisions with firmness and without being influenced by emotions, in an honest and sincere way.
